Several snakes, after having been sedated, are braided. The performance consists of monitoring the unlocking of the snakes as the sedative wears off. Ether was used as the sedative. The same ether is associated with emptiness. The same emptiness we associate with the space that a classical sculpture might occupy. The snake inhales the emptiness, falls asleep and wakes up braided.
